Church

Welcome to church

Bridge Church is focused around 3 opportunities to gather – Sundays, Encounter and Connect Groups. Each one has a different flavour but gives a chance for us to meet as church family. We believe that serving is a key part of what it means to be part of God’s church and there are multiple opportunities to get involved in the life of Bridge. We have a variety of teams connected to both Sundays and our community projects across the week.

Sundays

We believe in Sundays being the first day of the week, giving an opportunity for us to give of our first fruits to God and we would love to see you at one of our Sunday services.

We have two services that both start at 10.30am with doors opening at 10am for refreshments. The services are held at

  • Bridge Central, Portland Street, LN5 7NN
  • Bridge Community Hub, 107-115 Newark Road, LN5 8NQ

If you are attending the service at Bridge Community Hub there is parking at Ancaster Day Centre, LN5 8NJ which is a short walk from the building. Bridge Central has car parking available on site.

If you’re unable to attend the service in person, click below to watch it on YouTube

Gatherings Across the Week

Encounter

Encounter is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 7.30pm at Bridge Community Hub, Newark Road, LN5 8NQ.

This is an opportunity for us to come together for a time of worship, prayer and the sharing of prophetic gifts.

Connect Groups

Connect groups are a great way to build a deeper sense of community and to grow in your faith. We have several different groups running throughout the week so if would like to join one, please contact us or speak to one of our team on a Sunday.

Bridge Kids & Bridge Youth

Young people are the next generation of world shapers. We want to help this rising generation live meaningful lives, follow Jesus and leave their mark!

Bridge Kids

Bridge Kids aims to equip the next generation of the church to grow in faith, and go for Jesus!

At both Bridge Central and Bridge Community Hub we have an unsupervised Creche space just next to the auditorium with a stream of the services allowing parents to engage with the service whilst supervising and spending time with their children.

Our Children’s discipleship sessions take place at both of our 10:30am services where we offer fun and engaging sessions learning all about Jesus, faith and the Bible, through games, songs, craft and Bible study, all suited for primary school children.

To find out more email: Kids@wearebridge.org, or chat to the team on a Sunday.

Bridge Youth

Bridge Youth is an exciting opportunity for young people to engage with the Bible and encounter God. Sessions are fun and full of teaching that will help us to live our best lives as followers of Christ. We have a great youth space kitted out with an Xbox, a ping pong table and lots of games including Bridge Youth’s favourite – Jungle Speed! During term time, we meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m. and during holidays we have fun socials together! Check out the Bridge Youth’s Instagram for the most up-to-date information on sessions – @bridgeyouthlnc Our youth team are a group of passionate leaders who love Jesus; we want to encourage, empower and equip the next generation in their faith! Wherever you are on your faith journey, we would love to meet you and encourage you to take another step.
